In this version, Cadence took up Belly Dancing to defeat her foes, since it mesmerized them into coming close enough for her to whap them with whatever weapon she managed to swing. They can't even hit her because they're in a trance. The trade-off is that she can't move around very easily, so she has to wait for the song to end in order too move from one floor to the next.
